The division has been revamping the Shimla-Kalka route toy train to provide a world-class experience to engers. Soon, the same will be a great one as it has been the UNESCO World Heritage. Check out the new changes to come up at Shimla-Kalka route below.

Ambala Division has announced the revamping of one of the old coaches of Kalka-Shimla section for the same. According to reports, the coach that has been revamping as ‘restaurant on wheels’ will be open form both the side to give scenic view to the engers. Even this will have waterproof curtains to cure engers during the rainy season on ‘restaurant on wheels’. The coach will have 4 tables and each will have 3 chairs. Whereas the tables and chairs will be made of iron and the table’s top will be of granite.
Further on the demand of the engers, a personnel pantry will also be there for them. A group can book the personal pantry to cook their own food and it will be installed with modern kitchen equipment. Even the ‘restaurant of wheels’ will be installed by a music system as well on the Shimla-Kalka route.

Although with the completion of the revamping work on the Shimla-Kalka toy train for ‘restaurant on wheels’, the division will then conduct a test on the route to ascertain its speed. Once the same gets a ing certificate from the division, then it will be open for engers soon.
Recently Shimla-Kalka toy train has experienced many changes to attract tourist towards its like-replacing of rail-motor, hop on hop off facility, vistadome coach and much more. Although some more changes are yet to come in the route of Kalka-Shimla train to make it an unbelievable experience for the engers.
